Registration and Admission Criteria

Academic Criteria:

  1. The minimum age is 17 years and maximum 40 years as of the application year. 
  2. The candidate must pass higher secondary education from any recognized board/institution.
  3. Candidates must be from a Science background with subjects — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology during the 10+2 level.
  4. General & ESW: Minimum 45% marks and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD: Minimum 40% aggregate marks in higher secondary school (in both theory and practical separately, wherever applicable).
  5. The candidate has attended WBJENPAS-UG.

  1. JENPAS (UG) Admit Card
  2. JENPAS (UG) Rank Card
  3. Allotment Letter (if allotted in these institutions)
  4. Class 10th Admit Card
  5. Class 10th Mark Sheet
  6. Class 10th Pass Certificate
  7. Class 12th Registration Certificate
  8. Class 12th Mark Sheet
  9. Class 12th Pass Certificate
  10. Aadhaar Card
  11. Domicile Certificate issued by Government
  12. Caste Certificate
  13. Photo 4 Copies
  14. Year Gap Documents (More than 3 years GAP will require Affidavit)
  15. School Leaving Certificate / Migration Certificate (in Original)

Admission Process

Entrance Examination:

  1. Admission to undergraduate paramedical courses is primarily through the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences (JENPAS UG), conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).
  2. For postgraduate courses, specific entrance examinations or merit-based selections may apply, depending on the course and institution.

Counseling:

  1. After the entrance examination, eligible candidates are called for counseling sessions where they can choose their preferred courses and institutions based on their ranks and availability of seats. 
  2. Candidates must bring all necessary documents, including academic certificates, domicile certificates, and other relevant documents, for verification during the counseling process.

Admission:

  1. Post-counseling, candidates are allotted seats in various affiliated colleges under WBUHS.
  2. Candidates must complete the admission formalities, including fee payment and document verification, to secure their seats.
